Shipping Policy
SHIPPING​
ONLY SHIPPING OFFERED CURRENTLY IS IN THE 48 CONTINENTAL UNITED STATES AND DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
Mad N8v Guitars uses Ground and Priority Mail (except where noted) for all deliveries. Mad N8v Guitars will decide how to best ship your order upon packaging. Packages shipped via Ground can be tracked online using your order confirmation number and/or tracking number. Generally small orders will be delivered via USPS Priority, and larger orders will be delivered via Ground carrier such as UPS, FedEx, etc.
Shipping rates are typically $99 to cover insurance for shipment to make sure you get your product in mint condition. Please note that rates can vary due to different factors including your location, product size and service method for delivery. Because shipping rates can change, you will be notified the same day or next business day if the shipping rate differs from original quote. Mad N8v Guitars offers competitive shipping rates, but occasionally we get hit with surcharges or extra fees, a portion of which is paid by customer.
Signature is required upon delivery of all shipped guitars and basses.
Expedited shipping is also available, by calling us at (918) 575-8345. Expedited shipping for these delivery options is based on business days, therefore (for example), an item ordered on Wednesday with 3-day delivery would not arrive until the following Monday.
If you need overnight shipping, or overnight shipping with Saturday delivery, please call the Mad N8v Guitars staff at (918) 575-8345 to make arrangements.
Please note that Mad N8v Guitars cannot guarantee overnight delivery of products, because of variables such as time of day the order is placed, available stock on hand, and other factors.
Currently, Mad N8v Guitars does not ship to APO/FPO addresses. We apologize for this inconvenience. The reason for this shipping restriction is because of high damage rates and loss experienced in the past. Furthermore, electronic gear and guitars that sit in non-climate controlled warehouses/depots often used in the APO/FPO pipeline tend to suffer damage from temperature, humidity, and other factors. If your address is an APO/FPO address, we recommend you ship your order to a friend/relative in the US. They can then make arrangements to ship to you via a major carrier.

BUILD TIMES
Build times vary based on the time of year, model you order, and options you select. Instruments with more elaborate options can take longer than instruments with more basic options. Generally, build times for Custom Shop guitars and basses can range from 12 - 20 weeks, but in some cases, it could be less, or it could be more. Basic features on guitar, assuming order is placed when it is not peak season and all features are available to add to guitar/bass, can usually be done in 3 weeks or less
Rushed delivery of Mad N8v Guitars Custom guitar or bass is now available. This does not mean that the quality of the build is rushed, only that your order is expedited, cutting down the average build time significantly. The charge for the RUSH option is 10% of the instrument's total cost, and it must be paid in full up front (no deposits).
“Rushed" instruments are NOT RETURNABLE.

20% DEPOSIT
Get your Mad N8v Guitars Custom guitar or bass build started by paying a deposit of 20% of the total price (excluding shipping). When you pay a deposit, we will begin your custom build immediately. When your build is complete, you will receive an invoice for the remaining balance. We will contact you via email to go over your custom order if there are any questions and/or if we need to get a special image from you. You will then be given a secure link to send your deposit.
There is a 20% restocking/cancellation fee on all online Custom Shop builds that are cancelled prior to receipt of the instrument. Therefore, if you pay a deposit, and subsequently cancel your order, you will not be refunded the 20% deposit. By paying the 20% Deposit, you acknowledge these terms.
On Custom Shop guitars and basses ordered using the 20% deposit, final payment must be made within 30 days of instrument completion. Failing to do so will incur a $100.00 per month fee for holding and storage. After 3 months we will keep 20% plus the 100.00 per month storage fees ($300.00).

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
There are no changes allowed to an order once the order has been placed. Therefore, please be sure of your Custom Shop guitar or bass options prior to placing your order.
There is a 20% restocking fee for Custom Shop orders cancelled prior to customer's receipt of instrument.

PROCESSING & SHIPPING TIME
Many small parts and accessories sold online are made-to-order, such as pick guards, pickups and similar items, so you should allow 1 - 2 weeks of receipt of the order for shipment, unless otherwise noted on the product pages.
Guitars-in-Stock take a few days to process and ship, as they are given a final inspection prior to being shipped.
How long it will take to receive your order after it's shipped depends on your address and item(s) ordered. However, once your package has left Mad N8v Guitars, we cannot control factors such as weather that may delay your receipt.

Return & Exchange Policy
RETURNS
Should you return a new item to Mad N8v Guitars for exchange or refund, whether it's due to shipping damage, DOA, etc., the gear must be received by Mad N8v Guitars within 30 days of the date return arrangements were made with Mad N8v Guitars Customer Service. Items not returned within 30 days may be charged in full to your credit card/debit card/ payment method used in original transaction. To arrange to return an item, contact Mad N8v Guitars Customer Service at (918) 575-8345.
Mad N8v Guitars reserves the right to charge a restock. Returns that show signs of wear, i.e. dents, dings, scratches, etc., Mad N8v Guitars may charge a repair fee to fix these issues. If excessive damage is apparent, Mad N8v Guitars reserves the right to refuse refund, and in this case, customer will be responsible for shipping charges to get the instrument shipped back to them.

REFUNDS
Mad N8v Guitars processes refunds as quickly as possible. Refunds are not processed until item(s) being returned is/are received, inspected, and tested for functionality. Note: Credit card issuers and banking institutions have their own guidelines for processing credit card refunds. By law, these institutions have up to 30 days to post the refund to your account. Mad N8v Guitars' Accounting Department will process your refund as soon as the Returns & Repairs Department indicates the gear has been returned in proper working order and condition (typically within 48 hours of receipt).
Rare cases, as only in special circumstances do we allow this payment method to be used, all refunds for products purchased with a personal check or cashier's check or money order will be issued a corporate check by Mad N8v Guitars within 10 days of receipt of the item(s).

ERRORS OR OMISSIONS
Mad N8v Guitars reserves the right to change product specifications, options, standard features and pricing at any time. While we will make every effort to update the catalog and website accordingly, errors may occur. Mad N8v Guitars is not responsible for reasonable errors in pricing, specifications or other details that may have been overlooked or accidentally posted.
